Pagsanjan, Laguna PHILIPPINES

"Like a graceful swan, Pagsanjan (pronounced ´Pag-sang-han´) perches on the riparian delta formed by the confluence of two cool rivers called Balanac and Bumbungan. Originally named Pinagsangahan, meaning "branching" or "juncture", the town was given a Hispanic name by early Spanish colonizers, Pagsanjan, because they found it extremely difficult to pronounce its polysyllabic name."

Pagsanjan, the tourist capital of the province of Laguna and one of the premiere world-class tourist destinations in the Philippines, is gifted with natural wonders and scenic views!

A mini-town with land area of 2,640 hectares...  Bounded on the north by the Municipality of Lumban; on the south by the Municipality of Cavinti; on the east side by the Grand Canyon (Pagsanjan Falls); and on the west side by the Municipalities of Sta. Cruz & Magdalena...  It is geographically located at 121°27.5 latitude and 14°16.5 longitude with approximate mean deviation in 1982 of 136° cast annual magnetic change of easterly.
